##article.abstract##

Origami is the art of paper folding, which is a tradition of Japanese society. In its development origami was closely related to mathematics, especially the field of geometry. Geometry is closely related to students' cognitive development. The art of folding paper can also be called a game of folding paper to form exciting forms. The game is one of the exciting things to be applied to elementary school students. Origami can be a concrete object that can help elementary school students to understand the concept of geometry. The target of this activity is elementary school fifth grade students (SDK Taga). Students who have targeted experience anxiety and have a negative stigma against mathematics. Thus interesting approaches are needed to overcome this problem, in this context a paper folding game. In its implementation, students are very interested, happy, and enthusiastic when participating in this activity. This condition is shown by the enthusiasm shown by students and activeness during the activity
