From the negative side, the development of information technology has succeeded in creating a fairly high social level among young Indonesians. This happened, apart from the fact that the level of media literacy was still low, also because educational facilities were based on thinking that was not fully integrated. In fact, one of the potential possessed by young people including junior high school students is the ability to think critically. Given this, by learning from developed countries, one way to avoid students and society from using social media is the integration of education assistance in schools. With the existence of education based on critical thinking students can have the knowledge, attitudes and skills to solve various social problems, which is one reason for the use of social media that is not critical. Many studies that discuss education are based on criticism about this to be integrated into the curriculum system, material content and implementation of classroom learning. To help stakeholders in integration, it is necessary to support education based on critical thinking. Based on the method, besides being based on the reality of learning in digital, the development of digital information technology is also based on the results of a search of various literatures related to education based on critical thinking.
